GIVE BACK THIS HOLIDAY SEASON with Botanical Art Prints!
This year we are thrilled to offer a unique end-of-year fundraiser by sharing the wonderful art of UpS member and botanical sanctuary steward, Shay Herring Clanton.
As we reflect back and look ahead to 2018, our members continued support will help us build the Center for Medicinal Plant Conservation, expand our propagation of woodland medicinals, strengthen our intern program and educational events. Beyond the UpS Botanical Sanctuary, we will continue the momentum of our "Ginseng and Forest Botanicals Symposium" as we publish the proceedings as well as continue the dialogue in the quest for a cohesive and inclusive conservation plan for our treasured medicinal plants.
These three watercolors are reproduced as the highest quality giclée prints, (acid-free fine art paper). We are offering them in two standard sizes for easy framing. Orders received by Dec. 5th will ship to arrive before Christmas. Price includes shipping.

FROM THE ARTIST:
My botanical watercolors are always painted from life and from direct experience with the plants. This process of painting demands focus, mental stillness and acute observation. In painting the plants I learn a great deal about them. My paintings are a form of communication with each plant’s unique intelligence. The plants in these watercolors grow in Walker Mountain Botanical Sanctuary, a United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary that we manage on our land in Deerfield, Virginia.
