12 CE’s available to LMTs. Open to all. Hands On class making herbal bodycare preparations. Exploring cleansing, toning and nourishing the body as well as an introduction to Ayurveda and dosha balancing. May be part of the 54 hour Bodyworkers Apprenticeship


Sept 15-18 Traditions in Western Herbalism Conference-Vendor, Plant walk prior to Conference


Oct 15-16 Foundations in Herbal Medicine Intensive. May be taken individually or as part of the Herbal Clinicians path. Welcome to the world of North American Herbal Medicine. This intensive is for those who would like to more fully understand herbal medicine and their place in it. It is a jumping off point for many other herbal paths the school has.  Oct 21 Clinical Theater Class: Level 2 sign up to be seen as a client!

 This class is for the serious student and practitioners who would like to hone their skills seeing clients. Intakes are conducted sliding scale for community members in front of a class. A practicing herbalist or herbalists will lead the intakes.


 Nov 12-13 Herbs and the Sacred Feminine Weekend Workshop

The Sacred Feminine is that which connects us to the earth. It is the mysteries, the cycles, the Wheel of life as it relates to us as women. Join us as we celebrate all aspects of our loves as women: the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, with a special emphasis on Pregnancy and Birthing and the Herbs that connect us all. May be taken individually or as part of the Women’s Health Apprenticeship

Practice keying plants, making essences, awareness skills, great hiking and more. 3 day class

Summer 2012 Field Classes

Dates tba by January 2012. Sign up now to hold your place. These classes will close at 10 people. These classes are open to everyone but especially for hot Texans and other Southerners who want a break from the heat and get up in elevation to learn the wild plants of other bioregions.


 Early July: The Medicinal Plants of the Southern Rockies Location: Jemez and Taos area

Level 2 or those with appropriate training accepted first, and others upon an interview. Botanical background recommended. This is an outdoor class and we will be camping. Practice keying plants, ecological considerations, rare at risk plants, making essences, awareness skills, great hiking and more. 3 day class


 Late July: The Medicinal Plants of the Colorado Rockies Location: Boulder area

Level 2 or those with appropriate training accepted first, and others upon an interview. Botanical background recommended. This is an outdoor class and we will be camping. Practice keying plants, ecological considerations, rare at risk plants, making essences, awareness skills, great hiking and more. 3 day class
